APCO International sends a HUGE thank you to all participants of the first annual Run for 9-1-1 5K. We think it was a huge success based on the number of people that showed up on that chilly morning. We will send an email out shortly to all participants with links to results, photos and a survey for your feedback. The survey will allow us to take your feedback and incorporate it into next year’s event to make 2013 even better.

The first annual Run for 9-1-1 is an early morning 5K run/walk that features a beautiful course, chip timing, complimentary pancake breakfast, and fun for the whole family! This race will benefit emergency responders in Volusia County.

Starts and Finishes in front of Aunt Catfish’s Restaurant
4009 Halifax Dr., Port Orange, Florida
Parking will be available at the Aunt Catfish’s Restaurant, the dirt lot across the street or in the old Chi Ling’s Restaurant parking lot. Both are located on the corner of Dunlawton Ave. and US 1 / Ridgewood Ave. in Port Orange. Look for signs and always cross streets at designated crosswalks.
Post Race Celebration
After the 5K, join us for a celebration in front of Aunt Catfish’s Restaurant. There will be pancakes, orange juice, coffee, hot chocolate, and fruit, plus drawings for prizes and the awards ceremony. Food and drinks are available to all participants free of charge. Additional tickets for guests can be purchased for $5 each at the registration table.
Awards
Custom designed awards will be given to the top three Overall Male and Female Champions, the top Masters (40+) Male and Female, top three finishers in each of the following male and female age groups: 1-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over.
